My annual celebration of the Groundhog was very, very small. It ended just being four of us, which I was totally okay with, except for the fact that I totally bought enough stuff for dirt cake for twenty people. I guess my co-workers will be glad for that. My friend, Moo, made some fabulous homemade rootbeer. I was totally intrigued by the sounds of the dry ice doing its magic to make it carbonated. It was also very cool how it looked as if it were on fire. (see pics)
Today has been a typical day at school. Nothing really exciting and nobody has been mean to me, so I figure it is a good day. I get to go to the doctor after school for a check-up to make sure my new medicine is doing what is should. I hate the doctor but this shouldn't be that bad!
Tonight, I just plan to workout and go to a movie with the peeps from church. A good end to a good day. I hope Monday has treated you well. I am excited because next Saturday the temperatures are supposed to be in the 40s here. I am totally looking forward to that! :) Later.
I am sad that I was not invited to your groundhog day party. I thought that, when you didn't call, you had decided not to have it. And now, I find out that you did have it and I just wasn't invited. I am sad.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I missed the party. I was in Kansas.
ReplyDeleteErin-I totally thought about calling, but then I totally spaced as I was getting ready. You didn't miss much and I apologize wholeheartedly for not calling. I am not a good friend sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYour party sounds rad!
ReplyDeleteI received your New Year's card yesterday. I love it! Thank you for thinking of me. Cute pic too! I loved hearing all about your year. I totally didn't know you broke your leg. What a bad friend I am!
Where did you get those cards? I want some!
P.S. The Giants fans are crazy (but happy) out here.
