The past two weeks have pretty much been a blur. I really have no clue what I have been doing. It is crazy.
I guess I have been super busy or something.
Today I was trying to catch up on grading and couldn't find a whole class worth of papers. Weird. I do know they are on bright green paper, but I have no clue where they are. Crazy.
I also feel like I have a lot to do before I can leave in 25 days. That is pretty crazy too. There is a house to clean and a tornado seems to have gone through my office. I am glad I was not there when it went through, that would be scary.
I am in charge of planning the Senior Banquet at our school and I am feeling a little overwhelmed about it. It is not fun.
Today in a meeting at work, I felt like I was picked on a little bit. I really didn't want my opinion to be heard because I wasn't really too bent out of shape over the issue but then a co-worker thought my voice really needed to be heard. It was ugly. I really hate confrontation and really didn't need it today. Oh well.
What else is crazy? I am tired all the time. That means I should cut this short and get my little hiney to bed(and yes it is completely fun to think of my hiney as little!)
My knee hurts causing me to not run this week. That makes me sad...but I need to make sure I can continue to run and not hurt. Sometimes doing that is hard but I think overall it will be better!
Well, done with the ramblings. Check out the weight loss blog for some recent pics of me in new clothes.

Tiredness but a great weekend.
Friday I took the day off to go up to Idaho Falls, ID to see my friend, Laura, get married. It was so beautiful and fun to be there. The temple grounds were very pretty with all of the spring flowers. It was a long but great day seeing we drove up in the morning did the whole wedding stuff and then drove back, but it was totally worth it. Laura was so pretty and happy. That was awesome. To see my friends get married a little older in life has restored my faith in me finding somebody.
Yesterday, was busy too. I ran my second 5k and did well. I shaved five minutes off my last 5k even in the rain and hail! It was cold and miserable but I am pretty proud of myself for not walking a single step of the whole race. I think not sleeping much the night before caught up with me right after finishing the race and I was tired all yesterday. (actually, I am a little tired right now after having a good night's rest, weird!). It was nice to take a hot shower before heading back over to see my friend, Marion, finish her half marathon. Marion is pretty much an inspiration to me and has helped me on my journey to become a runner. It as fun to cheer her into the finish even though I am certain she thought I was crazy for doing it.
I had another wedding to attend yesterday here in Provo and I was tired of not having any church clothes that fit so I went to JC Penny's and bought a new skirt and a few shirts. I had actually bought a dress on Thursday to wear to my friend's wedding in Idaho but I didn't like it when I tried it on again at home so I returned it and was happy to find the clothes I did yesterday. I really had no clothes that looked good on me to wear to church. In fact, most of them would fall off my waist because I have gotten too small for them. I am not complaining but it is frustrating to hate your clothes. I think I may wear this skirt every week and just wear a different shirt with it. I hope nobody notices and thinks I am poor or something. I just don't want to have to keep buying clothes so I decided I would just buy one outfit at a time seeing I am continuing to get smaller. It sure is an adventure in that aspect! (I totally like the adventure too). It as pretty darn cool to actually be able to shop in the normal section instead of the women's section. I used to call the women't section "the fat ugly clothes section." I like the normal section a whole lot better!!!
Well, I better get ready for church. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

So why hasn't Alice Posted this week?

*Photo of Alice just after she posted!
Hmm....interesting question. The answer is pretty much because she is tired and busy that when she decides to blog, it is after eleven and that usually means she decides that going to bed is much more important than writing.
Here are some tweets from the week(if you are a facebook friend, then you have seen these as well):
1. Alice doesn't like playing with fire. Next time the good charcoal will be bought! Maybe the lighter fluid will kill her. Pork on the stove! **I was very worried that I would burn my eyelashes off as I tried to get that stupid coal to light. I think I might have to have my dad teach me how to use a gas girl this summer and then I may buy a new grill come fall.
2. Alice is happy to be a carnivore at this very moment! ***Dang those pork chops were so yummy with A-1 and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce accompanied by potatoes and corn.
3. Alice smiled a lot today while thinking of the fun time she had with nephews yesterday. Man, are they cute and so fun to throw around. **I had a blast with the kiddos up in Salt Lake on Sunday. Oliver was so very cute and funny. I haven't heard him giggle as much as he did when I would carry him around and let him try to catch his older brothers. So much fun. I also ate a whole bunch of food because I had the points to do so....it was awesome.
4. 21 days of class left, but I am still not counting. ****the countdown has begun!
5. Alice ran three miles straight today. The impossible became possible. It actually brought tears to her eyes! ***It felt so good to not stop at all on the run yesterday. I ran so very SLOW but really, I ran the whole way so I was so proud of myself. It was funny that I was listening to Kelly Clarkson's song "Impossible" when I was finishing because it was so inspiring. It was one of those moments from life where you actually think your life could be made into film. It was awesome.
Tonight I will play softball. It is a little cold to be playing but I am going to love it anyway! So exciting to start the season. YIPEE!!!

Hat Day!
Yesterday was hat day at school. I do not know exactly why we rewarded the students with hat day, but I was still pretty excited for it, seeing I usually am wearing a hat when I am not at work! I have about thirty hats so it was hard to choose one to wear. I actually didn't choose just one, instead, I chose seven...one for each class hour of the day. Only a few people noticed but it was pretty fun to do. It made for a fast Friday which is always good, right?
Life is good right now. I don't really have a whole lot going on. I am running three times a week and will run my second 5k next Saturday. You can read all about my runs at: http://www.aliceisarunner.fastrunningblog.com
Today I ran and then have procrastinated grading papers. Grades are due on Monday. I also have a lesson to do for Relief Society for tomorrow at church and I am not ready yet...but I will be. I am just enjoying having a down day. It is nice. The weather today is amazing. The run was made nice by that. I am also going to bring some papers onto my porch to grade so that make it a little more enjoyable.
Tonight, I will probably do a bit of TV watching and preparing for that lesson. Pretty exciting life, no?
Well, hope your Saturday is being glorious!
