Melissa Peterman is HILARIOUS!

I was able to go and see Melissa Peterman's comedy show in Ogden tonight. She is pretty darn funny. If you do not know her, she played Barbra Jean on Reba. I laughed so hard at times that I was crying. My favorite bit was when she demonstrated what karaoke is really like and she put her hair up on the side and took her arm out of her sleve and pretended to be drunk and singing. She then demonstrated what it is like to do with Reba McEntire. "I would like to do Fancy. In the Key of....ME." She also mentioned how her and Reba were best friends but not the kind of friends where she knew Reba's phone number or where she lived. But it was okay because Reba told her: "Oh Melissa, you don't need to know where I live because I live in your heart." Hilarious.

The week went fast. Thank heavens. It has been busy and stressful. At least it looks like senior banquet is coming together and it should be wonderful.

I had a fun date today. His name is Travis. He is nice and funny. We will go play disc golf before I go to Wisconsin. It was nice. The end.

New Hair!

My friend, Kerri, treated me to a haircut and style at a real salon. It was quite cool and I think I have been converted from the el cheapo cuts I usually get. It looks nice and my hair is so silky smooth. It was actually quite funny because the hairstylist loved my hair. She thought it was so pretty and felt so soft. She actually played with it for a long time and lost track of the time while doing so. I found it hilarious.

I have been stressed and feel haggard and old. Enjoy the pic of the new hair. I think I look tired. It is late and I should be sleeping.

First hour PE was the highlight of my day. Here are a few quotes that were awesome from that class:

1. One of the students asked me what it would be like if our class was a reality TV show. I asked her what we would call it. She thought for a minute and said: "Alice and the Class" to the tune of Benny and the Jets.
2. Same student, who isn't very coordinated but today played really hard said this after scoring in Ultimate Frisbee: "Do you want some ice with that burn?!"
3. As we were cleaning up the same student said: "Hey guys...that was totally ULTIMATE!" Like the pun?
4. Same student also said: "Alice, have fun with your non-favorite classes the rest of the day!" I had told them they were my favorite class earlier because they play so hard. Silly girl!

Well, besides that I feel tired and worn out and it is almost midnight and I am not asleep. I am not smart either! Cheers!

A little better...

I am having less of a panic attack than I was the other day. That is progress, no?

How about these tulips? I love them. They are in front of my old house and I actually planted them. I figure that gives me the right to take pictures and cut a few of them off and keep them in a vase in my house. It makes me pretty much happy!

I still feel a little overwhelmed this week but that is okay. I need to just make time for the things that I have to get done before leaving in a few weeks.

I just almost typed that I didn't have anything else to say but then I thought about a few things. Everyday, I am very excited because my towel fits around me so well(after showering) these days. Funny how as you lose weight, little things like that can make you smile. I also have noticed how it is pretty light in the morning when I get up now. The other day I almost freaked out because I thought I was an hour late! Funny. Another funny thing is that every other day I drink a smoothie for breakfast. It always makes me really cold. I have been cold lately. Mostly it is because this spring is insane and their always seems to be a threat of snow and because I have 30 pounds less of insulation, so it makes me chilly sometimes! Fun.
