Busy week=fewer posts!

Alice is Alive. She has just been busy. Yesterday, she worked and then went to Lehi to see her other dad have a starring role in Lehi High's play, Titanic. He missed the ship. We are thankful and he did a wonderful job!!!

Today, she had a root canal. It was nice. Okay, so it is a little painful but I did take half of the day off which allowed me to be able to wash my laundry and I even got the free drying deal because I was there before three. I never knew I would actually be excited about laundry!

Here are two pictures that made me very happy today. It is spring!(of course it is snowing now!)

The buds on the tulips outside my house.

The bush in front of my house looks like it's on fire. These bright flowers eventually turn into leaves. I love when it is so bright.

I also love that tomorrow after school, spring break starts. A couple of my friends and I will start our road trip to California. I am so excited.

I got this picture from hope week in my email. I thought it was cool.

Well. I better finish packing and get to bed. I hope life is treating you well. Cheers!

The past few days.

The week seems to be going fast. I guess I am the right kind of busy. Sunday we celebrated Oliver's second birthday. Isn't he cute?

It is also Josh's birthday this month too so we let him party as well. He made this cool sculpture. What a talent, no?

He also helped blow out the candles. What a good uncle.

I ran on Monday. That is the biggest event besides finding out I need a root canal. Here are a few pics from my run.

We had a surprise snow on Saturday. It didn't keep long, and I am glad for it!

Rocky Mountain Bluebird.

I also had a delicious sandwich at Jimmy John's followed by frozen yogurt with Erin and Levi.

I often tell Josh to make me a sandwich so this sign reminded me of him:

Good start to the week, minus the whole root canal news. Thank heavens it is able to be fixed before the big California trip on Friday!

Today was mediocre. I think both the students and the teachers are stir crazy. My second hour PE class drives me nuts and having a kid bleed all over the floor after being hit in the nose by a lacrosse ball didn't help!

I had no desire to exercise but made myself lift weights. I did weigh in today and had only gained two pounds(I had thought it would be four, so that was good right?)

The biggest accomplishment was that I got my taxes done. I am glad to have my friend, Jane, to help me because without her help I probably wouldn't have gotten a return. She helped me learn that all the money I spent on medical expenses were deductible. Wish I would have had her around last year!!!

Well, almost time for bed. Cheers!

Did You Just Call Me Pig?

This video of Spencer and Henry fighting at dinner makes me laugh out loud! Enjoy!

A Low Key Saturday!

Didn't do a whole lot today. I watched General Conference. This happens twice a year for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We have the opportunity to listen to the leaders of our church speak. I love conference weekend. Learn more about conference here

I headed up for dinner at Chili's with the Bills women as the men attended the priesthood session of conference. It was a good time. Ezra was mesmerized by clanking ice:

Nice day!!!

New look!

The blog has a new look, in case you are dense and didn't notice. And if I just referred to you as dense and you are offended, I totally apologize.

I am learning photoshop. It is way fun. It is also addictive. I am learning so don't judge the header. It will be tweaked this weekend. I have always wanted a header that is creative and has a few pictures in it. I guess I was jealous of Morgan and her awesome headers on her BLOG.

I think, seeing I take pictures all the time, I will be creating new headers often!!

Friday was nice. I like Fridays. I went in a nice bike ride and took these pics:

I love cows. Especially those baby ones!

The lake was gorgeous! The bugs in my face were not!

How do you not make a squinty face in the sun. Pretty pic though!

Stopped by a train but it was fun to see. And there must be kids like my students all over the county. The proof is below!

I also went to Burger Friday with the Bills up in Sandy. I sure do love a burger and fries. Here is how cute Levi, Erin and Isaac's baby is:

Great end to a good week only one week until spring break. Yipee!!!
