Sunny Saturday

I have been loving this trip so far. It is awesome to look out the window and see the beach. I also love hearing the waves day and night. This place rocks!!!

This was my breakfast today. Jane introduced us to this amazing bakery. It is dangerous, evil and very much delicious. We have been here two days and have eaten there twice.

Sometimes my self-portraits aren't the best. Fortunately, the scenery behind me is best!

These few pics are from my sunset run.

My footprint.

Path. It was way cool because I turned around and the waves had erased my path! Cool.

Friday is a good day for a road trip.

My view from the back seat. It was nice to nap lots. Jane and Denise did not sleep. They are rockstars. Jane wanted to drive straight through. It was a long drive but worth it.

These are the Salt Flats outside of Salt Lake. I have actually never been there.

Outside of Reno.

We got to the beach house in Aptos at about 5:30 sat. morning. This is the empty lot across from the beach house.

I love the ocean. I can hear the waves right now. It rocks.

Busy week=fewer posts!

Alice is Alive. She has just been busy. Yesterday, she worked and then went to Lehi to see her other dad have a starring role in Lehi High's play, Titanic. He missed the ship. We are thankful and he did a wonderful job!!!

Today, she had a root canal. It was nice. Okay, so it is a little painful but I did take half of the day off which allowed me to be able to wash my laundry and I even got the free drying deal because I was there before three. I never knew I would actually be excited about laundry!

Here are two pictures that made me very happy today. It is spring!(of course it is snowing now!)

The buds on the tulips outside my house.

The bush in front of my house looks like it's on fire. These bright flowers eventually turn into leaves. I love when it is so bright.

I also love that tomorrow after school, spring break starts. A couple of my friends and I will start our road trip to California. I am so excited.

I got this picture from hope week in my email. I thought it was cool.

Well. I better finish packing and get to bed. I hope life is treating you well. Cheers!

The past few days.

The week seems to be going fast. I guess I am the right kind of busy. Sunday we celebrated Oliver's second birthday. Isn't he cute?

It is also Josh's birthday this month too so we let him party as well. He made this cool sculpture. What a talent, no?

He also helped blow out the candles. What a good uncle.

I ran on Monday. That is the biggest event besides finding out I need a root canal. Here are a few pics from my run.

We had a surprise snow on Saturday. It didn't keep long, and I am glad for it!

Rocky Mountain Bluebird.

I also had a delicious sandwich at Jimmy John's followed by frozen yogurt with Erin and Levi.

I often tell Josh to make me a sandwich so this sign reminded me of him:

Good start to the week, minus the whole root canal news. Thank heavens it is able to be fixed before the big California trip on Friday!

Today was mediocre. I think both the students and the teachers are stir crazy. My second hour PE class drives me nuts and having a kid bleed all over the floor after being hit in the nose by a lacrosse ball didn't help!

I had no desire to exercise but made myself lift weights. I did weigh in today and had only gained two pounds(I had thought it would be four, so that was good right?)

The biggest accomplishment was that I got my taxes done. I am glad to have my friend, Jane, to help me because without her help I probably wouldn't have gotten a return. She helped me learn that all the money I spent on medical expenses were deductible. Wish I would have had her around last year!!!

Well, almost time for bed. Cheers!

Did You Just Call Me Pig?

This video of Spencer and Henry fighting at dinner makes me laugh out loud! Enjoy!
