Superlicious!

I tried to post last night after the Superbowl, but for some reason my email didn't send to my post.  So here I am again, while my kids are taking their first test in Health.  Please do not tell my boss that I am doing this while working.  What a game, eh?  I like when Superbowls are exciting.  I like even more when the underdog goes and wins. Go Giants. I was even okay with them winning even though they beat the Packers. I also was totally okay with it because my imaginary boyfriend, Eli Manning, got to win and was the MVP!  Go ELI!  I was screaming so loud during the last four minutes of that game, I was surprised the neighbors didn't call the police!  I kinda get excited sometimes when it comes to sports, if you didn't already know that!

My annual celebration of the Groundhog was very, very small.  It ended just being four of us, which I was totally okay with, except for the fact that I totally bought enough stuff for dirt cake for twenty people.  I guess my co-workers will be glad for that.  My friend, Moo, made some fabulous homemade rootbeer.  I was totally intrigued by the sounds of the dry ice doing its magic to make it carbonated.  It was also very cool how it looked as if it were on fire. (see pics)

Today has been a typical day at school.  Nothing really exciting and nobody has been mean to me, so I figure it is a good day.  I get to go to the doctor after school for a check-up to make sure my new medicine is doing what is should.  I hate the doctor but this shouldn't be that bad!

Tonight, I just plan to workout and go to a movie with the peeps from church.  A good end to a good day.  I hope Monday has treated you well.  I am excited because next Saturday the temperatures are supposed to be in the 40s here.  I am totally looking forward to that! :)  Later.

I didn't know you could play tag on blogs!

I figure I better do this though because ,believe me, you do not want any Bills girls after you! :)

I was in college in Rexburg, Idaho. My roommates would pick on me because of my Wisconsin accent whenever I would talk on the phone with my mother. I was taking a guitar class and as I was walking home from it one day, I slipped on some ice. As I was falling to the ground, I could only think about keeping my guitar safe, so I landed on my tailbone and was hugging the guitar. The unfortunate thing was that some of my friends were on the balcony of my apartment complex and saw the whole thing and were yelling and pointing at my misfortune. It is at times like these that you really find your true friends! :)

5 Things on my To-Do List Today:
1. Make dirt cake, it is Groundhog Day after all!
2. Ride my exercise bike, if I get enough motivation!
3. Finish cleaning my apartment
4. Watch the movie Groundhog Day
5. Read more of New Moon

5 Snacks I Enjoy.
1. Chocolate covered cinnamon bears
2. Tortilla chips with Salsa con Queso
3. Twix
4. Blow Pops
5. Cheese Its

5 Places I Have Lived (I'll be going from most recent on down)
1. Provo, UT (Right now)
2. Salt Lake City, Utah (the year I had no real job after college)
3. Logan, Utah (such a memorable and fun time of my life. I loved college)
4. Rexburg, Idaho (a really good year too!)
5. Wausau, WI (19 years of my life. All good times! Except maybe those awkward teen years!)
Five was just perfect for me because that is how many cities I have lived in!

5 Jobs I've had
1. Health/PE Teacher
2. Hotel Housekeeper
3. Counselor at a Day Camp for kids 7-12 years old
4. Waitress at Pizza Restaurant
5. I ran out of jobs because I am a slacker. I will put my next dream job down. Besides a Sports Journalist, I would like to be UPS Driver.

5 Things People Don't Know About Me...

1. I am very athletic (your probably knew that) but I suck at volleyball.
2. I am a Democrat. And seriously, I don't feel like I have to apologize for that!
3. I love pink, even though I used to hate it. (most people know that, I am trying to think of more but am drawing blanks)
4. I have kissed five guys. I think it may have been six but I can't remember. All of them were losers by the way. I have a knack for that!
5. I am very good at fixing stuff. I think that actually I would be a very good mechanic!

I really don't believe that I will have bad fortune if I don't tag three people like I am supposed to but I will try three friends anyway. Librarianpants, Sassi-Cassi, and Moo. Don't feel as if you have to participate in this silliness. I was just curious to see who, of the blogging world, would do this. IF I have not listed you, and you still feel like doing this, please do.

Not much excitement here as usual. Happy Groundhog Day. Sorry guys, he saw his shadow this morning. Six more weeks of winter. OH GREAT! I hate winter. Librianpants was right, she called it and we are all depressed now, aren't we?

Sigh!

There Is Just Nothing Like Jello!

I work with pretty cool people.  That is all I can say.  When I got to my 8th hour today, this wonderful masterpiece(see pic) was on my desk.  Some of you may not know, but I love the TV show The Office.  It makes me laugh lots and lots.  In one episode, one of the characters,Jim, plays a prank on another character, Dwight. Jim puts Dwight's stapler in Jello.  It is just a hilarious bit.  The writer's strike has been killing me because I am not getting my weekly dose of humor that The Office provides.  Well today was a Thursday that did not pass without the same kind of laughs.  Thanks guys for doing that for me.

What made the whole event even more funny is that they video taped me and my reaction to the Jello.  It was pretty funny.  One of my co-workers says the video will be on her blog sometime.  I will let you know when it is up and ready and give you the address for it.  I am sure it is quite entertaining.  She is the same person today who said I should not blog at midnight anymore.  She is right and I am now doing this before I leave work today.  It is only 4:44 pm.

For those of you that may be thinking that 4:44 is pretty late for me to be at work, should know that I really haven't been doing much work here after school.  I actually have been chatting it up with lots of my fellow co-workers.  They are pretty awesome.  I think you actually have to be awesome to be hired here.  Okay, maybe not everybody at my work has quite the same awesomeness, but you get my drift.

I am always using funny sayings lately. At least I get "get my drift" right.  The other day I said to somebody that they "have their own pan to fry."  Today I said: "I just opened the fire on that one."  I think I really do need some more sleep.  Good thing the weekend is coming!

Well, off to my home to workout and shower before some wonderful social events! Later!

Yet another reason why the youth of today are failing!

Hi. Just a short little blog about my students. I really am tired right now. I am ready for the weekend and it is only Wednesday night. At least I can tell myself tomorrow morning that I only have to get up early two more times this week! Yipee! I think it is bad to live your life weekend to weekend, but sometimes that is how you survive through the madness.

Onto the original subject. The reason why kids are failing today...it takes a class of 15 students 10 minutes to staple two pieces of paper together. WE were making a little study book in Health today and it was really simple. Stager the papers and then staple them. They are funny, it took a few of them a very long time to get it done. Some of them also had a hard time getting the two different colored pieces of paper into the right order! Sillies!

On a positive note, our boys basketball team won again tonight. They are officially undefeated for their Provo City League season! They really play well as a team. They pass the ball and are good sports to each other and the other team. Maybe there is hope for their generation after all! :)

Dangerous Questions!

Today, I asked the 8 Ball if winter would ever end. It said no. Sorry guys, we will now have an eternal winter.

Okay, so maybe I did not ask the 8 ball that question but the weather seems to be answering the question on its own. I am so sick of snow and coats. HATE THEM.

I think I need a full-spectrum lamp or some prozac. Actually, I am having a good time this week. I just hate driving and also being outside. Maybe I should just ground myself to the indoors. Life would be easier!

Off to sleep! Cheers.
