Good Day...Again!

I got my Kelly Clarkson ticket today in the mail. Awesomeness! It is going to be a blast to go to that concert.

I also got plane tickets to come home this summer. That will also be a blast to get to be home for a couple months.

I am working on getting that other plane ticket taken care of too. What a fiasco. I may just use it to go home for Christmas. It seems that if you buy the tickets in May for December, they are much cheaper. Who would have even thought to book a flight now for Christmas? Not me!

Well, off to frisbee golf/jog again. Yipee!

Whoa....it's Thursday already!

I woke up this morning and thought it was Wednesday; it is actually Thursday. That never happens. If I wake up and think it is a different day, it is usually Friday and I think it is Saturday and then I am very disappointed by the fact that I have to get up and get ready.

Yesterday went very fast, obviously. School is just flying by right now. I better sit back and just enjoy my students and my school because it really is going to be so different next year. SIGH. I played frisbee golf again yesterday afternoon and it was very fun. I went alone and jogged between throws. Good exercise!

I then just hung out at home. Unfortunately, I could not watch much on TV because my whole DVR got erased yesterday. I also lost my phone at one point during the day(don't worry I found it again). I was thinking that was probably karma getting back at me for winning that awesome trip. The universe is hopefully even now and today will be a great day.

Today was an awesome day. I found out that I was chosen to win a trip for two to go see the Colorado Rockies baseball game this Saturday in Denver. I won two airline tickets to Denver, two tickets to the game, a hotel room and a hundred dollars in spending cash. Crazy huh? So, Kristi(one of the counselors at work) and I will be flying out at 10 on Saturday morning. How cool is that? I am way so excited. I never win things and I have never won anything as awesome as this. I won this by entering a contest through the Salt Lake Bees (minor league baseball team).

I also was able to go on a hike with my friend Christine and her son, Aiden. It was a blast. Afterward, we went to J Dawg for a hotdog(my first time). It was so yummy. Overall this was an awesome day. I am looking forward to Saturday!

Time to Sleep

Here is a picture of my yummy fruit salad that I made with my new fantastic as seen on TV Chop Wizard. Megan bought the chopper for me and it is fantastic. I can see a lot of healthy foods being made in it in the future. I am way tired and going to bed now. It is 9:30. Crazy huh? Only 16 days left of class. YIPEE!

Weekend!

Played softball last night. It was fun as always, even if we did not win. After that I went to Janette's for her birthday party. We just chatted and ate fun food and then played Taboo.

Today Megan came up so we did our usual shopping all over. We went to the mall, Costco, Office Max, Barnes and Noble, and Shopko. Not that you wanted to know all that, but you get to anyway. I got a new featherbed at Shopko. Yes, you read that right, I bought a new featherbed because the new mattress topper actually made me very sore the last few nights, so I decided that it was too firm for my body. Let's hope the featherbed does the trick and that the topper sells on craigslist. Sigh, oh well, life happens like that sometimes, doesn't it?

Well, off to eat pizza, watch movies and hang out with Megan. Enjoy the pic of us "hanging out." We are awesome, aren't we?
