I am very grateful for technology today. I can use it to help my students know what they are missing in their classes. I also can phone a friend or family member and have a good chat about whatever. I also can make my lunch really fast so the 26 minutes they give me to eat it isn't bogged down by cooking time. I use technology all the time. It is in my house, at my work, in my car and even in my pocket. I love it so very much.
The big reason I love it right now is that I can actually take that amazing little phone of delight out of my pocket and watch basketball games right there on that little screen. I also can bring up games on the screen of my computer that my work so nicely provides for me. And my wonderful and newly paid for(Tuesday to be precise) can also play a game, or two if I get two networks to watch. Do you see how amazing my life is because of my technology? And of course I can watch multiple games at once because of all of them work at the same time. Isn't my life amazing? I knew you would agree.
So in the ho hum drums of March, I am sitting back and enjoying some Madness because it makes me extremely happy and so very thankful for technology! :) So if you can't get a hold of me, you now know why. You know that I am sitting on my couch ignoring the world. Thank you March Madness and NCAA basketball. Thank you so much!

A Funny In The Middle of Day.
This is a story that one of my students just told me that happened in their English class today. It was too funny to not publish on the interwebs!!!!
Their teacher was saying that it is hard to teach English because the students abbreviate everything like they are texting. Like LOL, JK, etc.
One of the students piped up and said: "I hate abbreviations!"
Another student turns to this student and says: "But your name is D.J."
Very funny!!!

T is for Tuesday and sometimes Terrible Mornings.
I woke up to a horrible belly ache. So I quickly got myself to work where I got my sub plan ready. I think it is a bad thing that I am now really good at writing sub plans. I eventually felt better but was very tired all day. Good thing naps are a available when having a sick day.
March Madness began tonight. That makes me happy. It also makes me happy that there is wonderful technology that allows me to watch games while also watching good TV. I discovered two very good shows today. Arrested Development is hilarious and Lost Room is creepy and interesting.
I will be glad to go back to work tomorrow. I don't like being sick. It gets boring and annoying very quickly.

M is for Monday. That is almost good enough for me!
Mondays are hard. Tuesdays are hard too, but you at least have one day in(Can you hear the need for Spring Break in my tone?)! The bubbler made me happy today(and btw, in Wisconsin a bubbler is a drinking fountain. I call this thing a bubbler because it makes the coolest bubbles. Some people would call it a water cooler but how boring is that?), so I took a picture. Other things that made me happy were listening to Levi, who is nearly five months old, laugh. (I should take more pictures of that cutie.) I also enjoyed talking with his parents and eating dinner and later ice cream with them. We attempted for the second time to bowl on a Monday night but there were no open lanes. We need to go earlier. One day we will go. Too bad Isaac will be off training to be a nice military guy. I will miss him. I guess Erin and I are now on our own for our traditional family home evening. What will I do when Erin also leaves to be with Isaac and the other option is FHE with the silly ward? SIGH!
Well, off to bed. It is much to late to be awake on a work night!

Saturdays are super!
I decided to make the weekly pilgrimage to Layton on Saturday instead of Sunday this week. I do this sometimes because then I can spend more time with the wee nephews. They go to bed at like seven and by the time I get up there after church and all, it is after five.
They were silly in their Speedracer and Wolverine costumes. And Oliver with his little piano skills was much too cute.
Morgan and I went shoe shopping after lunch. I have a very hard time picking out shoes sometimes. Make the whole trip about getting flats for church because a cute boy there is shorter than me and goodness it is even harder. It was nice to be shorter and talk with him though!
Dinner from Jimmy John's subs was fantastic. I was also very impressed with the signs. So very cool.
The weekends seem to go much too fast but they are majorly enjoyed by me!
P.S. I really wish you could have read this before I edited it because it was drunk funny! I think it is probably time for bed!
