Ten Things That Make Break Great.

Here is a list for today's post:

1. Being with family.
2. Homemade meals.
3. Seeing friends.
4. Eating great food, like The Mine Co.
5. Sleeping in.
6. Not dealing with complaining teens.
7. Christmas cookies.
8. Christmas cookie dough.
9. Reading without guilt.
10. Movies.

Last night was a good dinner with friends from softball, and Marla(the best softball fan!) at The Wausau Mine Company. It was so fun to catch up with everybody and those Italian Fries are so with the four hours of exercise needed to burn them.

Before that, Marla, Jenette and I saw New Years Eve. It was a cheesy but good flick! I have also have seen Sherlock Holmes this break, which was action packed and a great story. I love watching movies!

Marla and I also visited her sister's family and I used my techie skills to help get music on a mp3 player. We also stayed up late visiting like always. It's sure good to be able to visit with family and friends this time of year. I wish I had taken more pictures today. This is all I have. It's Virgil at the Mine and a festive moose near the movie theatre.

Happy Christmas.

It was a very low key Christmas here today. Mom, Andi, Rebecca and I went to my church this morning. It rocked. Well, rocked as much as church rocks. It was more like a calm, peaceful hour!

Then we hung out most of the day and ate way too much. Tonight we watched the Packers beat the Bears. Yipee. Elijah and I watched while he played video games. It's cool to have two TVs in one room!

I also took Divot for a walk. He truly has my heart. Great dog. Some people probably think it's weird I have a nephew puppy, whom I spoil rotten!

Enjoy some pics from our walk. One is a snowman that has Christmas lights on it, one is a Packer tree and the third isn't from the walk, but it's Divot helping with the dinner dishes.

Christmas Eve

The day before Christmas was awesome.

My sister's crew arrived in the afternoon and we visited, had, dinner then opened presents. It was very nice.

Family is one of my favorite things on this planet. I am so blessed in all aspects of my life, but in family, I am most blessed. Here are some pics of the great Christmas Eve festivities:

Fun Day!

The day was filled with coloring, playing with a pink VW bug, playing with Barbie and running around like crazies in the snow. Summer Rose, my great niece, and I were very busy girls today!

I am tired so the only other thing you get are pictures and an annoucement that dinner at Pat's was amazing yummy fish fry! Peace out!

Travel Day!

It has been a crazy day. I was delayed in Denver, and then was told on the flight that all of us would be missing our connecting flights in Milwaukee. Luckily, and by a shear miracle, they held my flight from Milwaukee to Rhinelander. Weird that there were about ten of us traveling from Denver to Rhinelander.

I am falling asleep while writing this. It was a long day. I am so happy to be home. And the coolest surprise was waiting for me at the airport...my great niece, Summer Rose, and her Grandpa Chris are visiting from Iowa. So cool! I haven't seen summer since she had just started to walk. Now she is four years old and quite a character! We colored and played before bed tonight. I am one lucky and blessed girl already this break.

Let the festivities begin!
