One week? Really?

In one week, I will be on my honeymoon.  That is a little bit crazy to me, but it hasn't been scary the past few days.  I was a ball of nerves on Wednesday about it, but have calmed down since.  Going to the temple on Wednesday night helped a bit with that!

Thursday my class went mini-golfing.  I think they drove me crazy but it is Saturday now and I can't remember why.  Good thing I have a bad memory, it makes forgiving much easier.
Mini Golfing in the dark
Reuben won the Shamu. I won the hat.
Reuben and I went to Red Robin on Friday night.  It was yummy.  We also took in the movie Snow White and the Huntsman.  It was fantastic.  I will have to write a review about it on the movie blog. We had some time before dinner and we played the crane game.  I have an addiction to that game.  I think it may be because I have amazing crane game skills.  Both Reuben and I won something.  I think our skills are very well matched!
Me hiking
I liked this plate.  To remain calm, I need to remember to breathe.
Sharri, her son, and I went hiking on Friday in Rock Canyon.  It was fun.  I had a hard time convincing Riley that we should keep hiking and get to the Squaw Peak side of the trail.  I guess I will have to hike it again soon.

Crane master Reuben.  This is one of my new favorite pics of him!
Cute man, eh?
P.S. I hate the way the pictures upload on the app I use to upload these pics. They are always out of order.  Stupid app.

And then we hiked.

Took the kiddos hiking in Rock Canyon today. It was gorgeous. I'll have to get up there again soon!

Here are some pics:
Was a great day capped by eating at Nicolitalia and the Temple with Reuben. Lovely. Now, to sleep!

Tuesday

Work was good.  The ride to bowling went mostly well, except for the breakdown of one of the bikes.  We had to tear it apart on the street because the breaks were rubbing the wheel.  Good thing two of the kids lived about two blocks away and were able to get tools.  Not to self...carry some common tools.  I still find it funny how I am like the mother duck with her little ducks following in a row behind her!

Mother duck and her ducklings.

It was a pretty day!
I was also able to help another teacher take his students on a field trip to north of Utah Lake.  This is a camp for trek.  Basically, trek is where young men and women from our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, go and learn about the early pioneers and their travels from the east out to Utah.  I could am sure that pulling a handcart over thousands of miles was a test of faith. I am very glad that those pioneers were strong and did this because Utah is a pretty place and the church flourishes here in the Rocky Mountains!

Tonight, Sharri and I went to Weight Watchers.  I really am loving my leader.  It makes a difference to have a good leader who motivates you!  We then had some Jimmy Johns and then frozen yogurt.  I then came home and did a bit more organizing! A very good day.

Manic Monday

It wasn't so manic.  It was actually a great day, busy, but great!  The kids actually had a fun time on our two hour bike ride.  Then I went to another wedding dress fitting.  It is coming along.  Then I cleaned this massive mess I have collected the last ten years.  Then I bought stuff for dinner and then cooked it while Reuben commuted.  It was a long day for him.  We then went to the driving range and then ate frozen yogurt.  Now, it is much too late and I must be a sleeping.  Tomorrow is bowling with the kiddos, so I am not too worried about it or about being very awake, apparently.  They seemed excited today about trying to beat their scores from last week.  I better bring some quarters to buy them sodas if they win.  I think that is expected now that I did it last week.  Good times.
Riding on the Provo River Trail

There is a baby duck somewhere in this pic.  Can you see it?
The kids found a snake on our ride.  Not my favorite but a highlight for them!
Found this letter from Kelsey Bills in my stuff.  Oh the cute little Kelsey, who is now in her 20s, weird.
A baby duck is also in this picture.
Me with my little ducks.  I must always take pictures with my mouth open.  Weird.
Looking for the perfect clip for my birdcage veil.
Found this classic of me and roommates from Utah State.  Those were fun times!
Another classic.  Morgan is always this excited to see me! This picture form eons ago proves it!
My cute brother.  I loved the memories I found while cleaning today.  What a cute kid, eh?
My roommate, Becky, and I.  We had lots of fun times at USU. Man, we were young!

Alice through T-shirts

Here are pictures of the shirts I have held on to in hopes of one day having a quilt made out of them, but I am decrapifying my world as I make room for my fiancé to move in and they are going to DI. I figure this is a good way to document them, ya know, for posterity's sake. (not that in the grand scheme of things my t-shirts are important, but whatev! Am I the only one that sometimes has to take pictures of things before getting rid of them?
I love Kelly Clarkson.  I think I have seen her live six times.
I am not a spelling champion!
When number one just isn't good enough.
From my trip to Moscow, Russia a few years ago.
Sometimes I take upside down pictures just for fun.
Walmart special.  5 bucks.
From Steve and Barry's which no longer exists and makes me very sad.
From the Utah State Rugby days.
A softball team in Provo.  I wish I still had friends who needed players around here.  I am missing softball.
My favorite saying!
I found this hilarious in my bigger days.  Now I really am a super model! :)
This was for a party we had in Wisconsin.  I was dubbed the designated driver because of my no drinking policy.  Glad I can help the family!
A Jewel shirt.  I also love Jewel.  Only seen her live twice.
I really am.  Too bad the XL version of the t-shirt is not.
Backside of Jewel shirt.
Front of Rugby shirt. (Sometimes my blogger app on my phone bugs me.  Wish the pics would post in order.)
I love a good dam joke.  I kept saying: "This is the best dam tour I have ever been on" or "This is the best dam tour guide I have ever had," while on the tour at Hoover Dam.  I am so punny.
I do just chill with my gnomies sometimes.
This is why I stay unorganized.  I am not lazy.
I think my attitude is just right.
Don't we all?
True.
This is the best shirt.
This shirt is pretty dang lucky.  Hopefully my luck stays high without it!
