Thankfulness all around.

>
Happy Thanksgiving plus a few days. I am so blessed in my life. I could list all of the ways I am blessed, but it would be much too long of a list. These pictures illustrate a few of the things I am thankful for in my life.

Babies all around. Have I mentioned that I am so thankful my friends keep me in babies for my need to have baby time? I am.

My new air popcorn popper is awesome. It was awesome the other night to watch Avatar on the new TV and have flavored popcorn!

Levi did not like his turkey thanksgiving hat but he faked it just for your viewing pleasure. Oliver LOVED smearing his pie all around. That kid is seriously one of my favorites these days. He had me hopping around with a stuffed frog much of the time at Sarah's house on Friday. I also had to humor him for the last 45 minutes of our drive back to Morgan's and Derek's yesterday. He thought it was hilarious to "eat" my hand and have me catch his feet. Silly kid. I love my hat and Spencer thought that it needed to be tied and that we needed to take a silly picture at breakfast in Manila Saturday. It was nice to just hang out, eat and we went out in the fun snow to get Christmas trees. Josh is a master hunter and "delivered" as he said because of his fancy Pizza Hut hat! He also had fun being silly on the treadmill. I got to drive from Salt Lake to Layton with him a few times this past week. It is nice to have a little brother now seeing I never had one before. I like my adopted family.

Thanksgiving has been a great time. I love vacation and spending time with fun people!

Hope all your celebrations were fantastic!

(This should have been posted on Saturday but my silly iPhone was being silly.)

The Week Ends!

Good week all in all. Today is a different day. A little disturbed that my car has a gas lead and it will cost about three hundred clams to fix. I guess I am still thankful for the beast and a great mechanic who opened on a saturday to fix it and that it can be fixed. Just a bummer. Guess it happens to people who claim to be spoiled brats, which I am.

The sunsets around here have been fabulously beautiful this past week. I really am still loving this time of year. Even if the snow comes this week, I will still like it. I have been amazed how a positive attitude about life makes it so much easier! Is it normal not to have snow before Thanksgiving? I can't even remember.

I loved meeting, Sylvia, Julianne's new baby. She is a cutie with a built in personality already! I love that my friends keep having babies for my entertainment. Thanks guys! :)

School is going well. I am really liking those little crazies these days. I think they help me keep a good outlook with their energy. I also feel having a good attitude toward them helps me to have a good outlook and energy. The year is just moving along so quickly...CRAZY!

This weekend should be pretty low key. Went out to burgers with friends last night, isn't that the cutest little burger ever? I actually found out you can get any of their burgers in "petite" size! It is a glorious discovery! Cleaning this morning and then writing some this afternoon. The car is getting fixed right now. Tomorrow church, Packers football and dinner with friends. Life is good even with the blips! Hope all is going well for all of you! :)

Me Talking at Awards Assembly.

This is really for my mom. She wanted to be there when I spoke at the assembly. If any of you want to see it, go for it. If you don't see the video and only get sound, just refresh and the video should come up. I start talking at about 2:20 in the video!

Here is the link: Assembly

I should be sleeping.

Just a little update. I will be so excited to have a weekend starting tomorrow. It seems like this week has been eternally long. Tomorrow I am in charge of the assembly and I am not looking forward to it. I will be glad when it is done but until then I will stress out.

I should have been able to start running on Wednesday, but I tried playing some basketball and my side hurt. Stupid lack of gallbladder keeping me down. I guess it is the exercise bike for a few more weeks. I also think I am getting a little bit of a cold. That doesn't make me happy either. SIGH. November is hard. I am actually behind on the novel too. It just feels busy in here.

Well, I better hit the hay. Hope you are having one heck of a day!

Weekend and Such.

The weekend was wonderful. Life is flying by right now. Writing a novel wears on you!

Went hiking with a few friends from work on Saturday. It was awesome because the views were phenomenal and the company was great. I also went TV shopping and now know which one I want to buy. Black Friday bring on your deals!!!

It is Henry's birthday today. I have never met a five year old like him. What kind of kid likes caribeaners, rope, yarn, little clips and other various random things for their birthday? This kid does. And I love him. And who can't help but laugh at a kid with a bag on their head? I sure can't. It was also nice to have a rivoting talk about the noises animals make with Spencer. Did you know that a bat says "I can fly faster than you?" I think asking him what a turkey says is just about the cutest thing on the planet. It keeps me young to have wee ones in my life!

I totally started this post before I went to bed last night and now it is 8:30 in the morning. Tired much? Hope your Tuesday is filled with ponies and rainbows. Cheers!

Me leaving work in the dark...

Leaving work in the dark is kinda depressing. Almost as depressing as going to work in the dark. Oh how I am not ready for winter. Seems like I am busy kid with this novel writing and keeping my head above water at work. I am heading the organization of the assembly that is a week from Friday. Ask me how much planning we have done? Oh none. Ask me how much I care? Not at all. Excuse the cynicism. I am tired. Cheers!

Quick Post Before My Eyes Close.

Today went fast. It is a new term and it was fun to meet my new students. They are pretty much going to be awesome. I played basketball and probably shouldn't have. It made me a little sore for an hour or so. Dang gallbladders or lack thereof.

I started nanowrimo today. That is National Novel Writing Month. If you would like to read my novel you can visit novelalice. Remember that NaNoWriMo is a "competition" where you write 50,000 words in the month of November. It is all about quantity not quality so there is no editing done as it is written. That is for going back later and doing. So it is majorly rough but good. I really like my idea this year even if it is a little on the dark side. I think because it is so opposite of my character it makes it fun! 1667 words a day is intense and I actually woke up at 3 a.m. to visit the bathroom and decided I would write for a bit. I ended up writing 1716 words. Crazy, eh? I am going to write a little bit more tonight before I go to bed so I can have a little more of a cushion. I am excited for it but it will make me tired. I am off to sleep. Cheers!

Halloween in Pictures!
