Today was an awesome day. I found out that I was chosen to win a trip for two to go see the Colorado Rockies baseball game this Saturday in Denver. I won two airline tickets to Denver, two tickets to the game, a hotel room and a hundred dollars in spending cash. Crazy huh? So, Kristi(one of the counselors at work) and I will be flying out at 10 on Saturday morning. How cool is that? I am way so excited. I never win things and I have never won anything as awesome as this. I won this by entering a contest through the Salt Lake Bees (minor league baseball team).

I also was able to go on a hike with my friend Christine and her son, Aiden. It was a blast. Afterward, we went to J Dawg for a hotdog(my first time). It was so yummy. Overall this was an awesome day. I am looking forward to Saturday!

Time to Sleep

Here is a picture of my yummy fruit salad that I made with my new fantastic as seen on TV Chop Wizard. Megan bought the chopper for me and it is fantastic. I can see a lot of healthy foods being made in it in the future. I am way tired and going to bed now. It is 9:30. Crazy huh? Only 16 days left of class. YIPEE!

Weekend!

Played softball last night. It was fun as always, even if we did not win. After that I went to Janette's for her birthday party. We just chatted and ate fun food and then played Taboo.

Today Megan came up so we did our usual shopping all over. We went to the mall, Costco, Office Max, Barnes and Noble, and Shopko. Not that you wanted to know all that, but you get to anyway. I got a new featherbed at Shopko. Yes, you read that right, I bought a new featherbed because the new mattress topper actually made me very sore the last few nights, so I decided that it was too firm for my body. Let's hope the featherbed does the trick and that the topper sells on craigslist. Sigh, oh well, life happens like that sometimes, doesn't it?

Well, off to eat pizza, watch movies and hang out with Megan. Enjoy the pic of us "hanging out." We are awesome, aren't we?

Yesterday went very fast. We had a potluck at work and that was very nice. Then I lifted weights and then a couple friends from work(Shule and Jane) and I headed up to Salt Lake for a Bees game. We picked up my brother from another mother and head to the park for the 6:35 game. It was way fun. I didn't get home until 11:30 and wasn't in bed until 12 and that was bad for me because I am now dragging. Must get more sleep tonight. I do kinda feel like "Is it Friday Yet?" but really am enjoying spring still and hanging with fun people so...."Live. Laugh. Love!"

Extra Trip to SLC

I had to run up to Salt Lake today to try and take care of a plane ticket I cancelled last summer. It is idiotic to have to drive an hour to use a 500 dollar credit just because it is a paper ticket. Lame. Anyway, the news is that it will not be cost effective to use the credit to fly home this summer so I will have to do that a different way. I guess the good news it that I can use it for another trip! Any suggestions on where I should go for Fall Break?

I also bought a new topper for me bed because my bed is uncomfortable and makes me hurt a lot of the time. I am excited to go to sleep. It is a new Serta four in memory foam topper. Those sheep better help me sleep good tonight. I am sure you will get an update tomorrow! Imagine that picture being a twin with blue sheets on it. I should have taken a picture of the transformation but I was just too excited for it to be all ready to sleep on!
