Busy day. Work. Had to go home at lunch because I forgot something I needed there.
My phone had a button issue and I had to go up to Salt Lake to get it "fixed". Apparently, it couldn't be fixed and I had to replace it. Happy Christmas to me!
Well, I am beat. Off to sleep!

Retail Therapy
Some days, you need pick me ups. Today was one of those days for me.
Had a little disappointment that makes me turn to food to sooth myself. Self medication is not the healthiest choice. I may have eaten six cookies after finding out that I didn't get the house I got in a lottery for. Sigh.
I went shopping to sooth me. It was nice. I have monkeys again. I also have about four new t-shirts coming. Take that hard day!
My lock screen button is not working on my phone either. It makes me mad. Fun day, eh?
It is my little friend's, Ezra's, first birthday. He Is so cute. I can't believe it has been a year since I got to hold him when he was still slimy. Crazy! Happy birthday, little pal. Read all about him HERE.

Quick Sunday!
Seems like I just woke up. Weird. The time is flying. Before I know it, it will be time to go to Wisconsin. Nuts.
Today, woke up and read a little, then for ready for and went to church. Then I headed to Sandy for dinner. It is little Ezra's first birthday tomorrow, so we had some cake! I cannot believe it has been a year since his birth!
After dinner, I headed over to the Hagey's for a bit. Now, I am home and it is already time for bed. Crazy. Here are some pics. (My favorite thing about celebrating Ezra's birthday was playing catch with him. He actually enjoyed it for about five minutes. Then he cried. He sure loves to play ball. I can see baseball training in the future! Morgan, his mom was very excited about taking a picture. Priceless. And doesn't Henry look like a young Elvis?)
And the Packers won again! Love it!

Weekends seem to go fast!
I like sleeping late. I didn't get out of bed until about 10:30. By the looks of the weather, I had to convince myself to go running. Brrr, it is starting to be a bit cold. I even left my footprints in some of the snow that had fallen overnight. I am glad it melted and there were only patches of the white stuff. I am not as ready for snow as I mentally thought I was!
Went to lunch with my friend, Megan and her Mom. It was nice and free, thanks ladies. We also stopped at a little bakery. I had a yummy sugar cookie!
I then headed to work thinking I would get some things done for Monday. That didn't quite happen. I did get some things ready for the Christmas parade I decided to go and help with. Our students walked in it with glow sticks. It was a fun event. Before the parade there was a santa 5k. It was pretty wild to see hundreds of santas running through the city!
After the parade, I went out to dinner with Kristi. It was yummy. I felt guilty for having eaten three meals out in a row. I rode the exercises bike to deal with it.
That takes me to now. Took a little nap on the couch and now watching TV. It is a nice place to be!

It's 2:30 am, are you awake?
This counts as the 2nd's post even though technically it is the 3rd.
I am liking December so far. Fridays are always nice. Knowing you can have a weekend as soon as you get through the day helps. It was the end of the mini term for us, which meant that it was the end of the grading period. We are now 3/8 of the way through the school year. Pretty crazy to think about, I must say. Time is going very fast.
Today there wasn't too much to note. A typical day. I did hang out with Jane and Janette after school as we watched our basketball team play. It was fun, and they even won! We also had dinner in between the JV and Varsity games. I was craving onion rings. Maybe that is something to note.
I am liking being able to come home and not having to worry about writing. I have gotten me time, free time back. This basically means I can watch a bit of TV and actually pay attention to it and I have been able to read a bit more, I have missed it! Although, in the next week, I need to think about taking another online class to keep my teaching license current; it expires this summer.
My house is a mess. I have neglected it the past month because of novel writing month. That is kind of gross, isn't it? Maybe I better scrub a dub dub tomorrow. That really is my least favorite thing to do. I wish there was medication for that! Not cleaning is a disease, isn't it? Or maybe I wish my house was self-cleaning! That would be nice.
Well. I better sleep, even if I don't really have anywhere to be in the morning. Maybe scrubbing will call me to wake up before noon, even though it sounds real nice to sleep 'til then!
